Our Debt Recovery team brings together the collection and credit control experience of our Debt Recovery department, supported by a team of solicitors with specialisms in Commercial litigation, Corporate Recovery and insolvency.

Together, they represent a highly effective team undertaking volume recoveries supported by and operating within one of the UK’s leading law firms.

We specialise in the rapid recovery of debt under a variety of consumer and commercial contracts. These include:

  • Consumer credit agreements
  • Hire purchase agreements
  • Lease agreements
  • Trade debts
  • The sale and supply of goods and services.

We aim to get the result you want whilst delivering certainty on price, service and quality.

Our experienced team of recoveries’ Paralegals is supported by robust information technology, which affords a first class platform to deliver a service which is second to none.

Our UK-wide Debt Recovery team, located in our offices in Birmingham, Glasgow and Manchester comprises 13 Partners and supporting Associates and Solicitors, together with a dedicated team of specialist Debt Recovery Paralegal Assistants.

Our recovery case management system ‘Solcase’ runs progress relational databases and supports some 5,000 live cases. The recovery case management system is used for document production and automation of processes, thereby increasing our efficiency and speed of processing client instructions. Additionally, we are able to offer our extranet facility to assist client interface in processing volume instructions and updating our reports. This facility, operating on a client specific password basis with SSL encryption and digital certificates, allows our clients securely to connect via the internet at any time to carry out an online review of their referred cases. The client access facility has numerous applications which can be tailored to our individual clients’ audit and reporting needs including for example, remote, electronic file audit. Use of this system is actively encouraged. We are happy to provide your personnel with full training to operate this facility at your convenience.
